Out of Town - Black Cask Edition 2
Barrel-aged, mixed-fermentation imperial stout. Out of Town brewed an imperial stout using 7 strains of brett yeast. This version has been aged in a Islay whisky cask and the yeast has developed to give a smoky, dark beer. In edition 2 the brett hasn't developed as fully as edition 1 although this may change as the beer ages. This version is a more conventional whisky-barrel-aged stout.
